BERTHOUD — Berthoud Fire Protection District crews will perform fire hydrant flushing starting 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday in the Little Thompson Water District outside the town of Berthoud.
Flushing there will continue through March 10.
Starting March 11, crews will flush hydrants inside Berthoud.
According to Fire Marshal P. Michael Bruner, it is possible that sediment may be stirred up, causing brown water. He said residents should run a couple of faucets in their homes until the water clears.
