  • BFPD responded to a small grass fire near Longs Peak Avenue and Aspen Drive. The fire was extinguished.
  • BFPD assisted with a medical call for an elderly patient who had fainted and was found on the floor with a possible broken ankle. The patient was transported.

Tuesday, July 21

  • BFPD assisted with a medical call on Sioux Dr. for a patient complaining of back pain. The patient was transported.
  • BFPD responded to a call on Seventh Street for an incident involving a truck accidentally hitting a tree. Two young girls were involved in the accident. There were no injuries.
  • BFPD responded to a reported wildland fire in the area of southwest 49th Street near Campion Academy. After investigating the area, nothing was found.

Wednesday, July 22

  • BFPD responded with Berthoud Police to a shooting incident on Weld County Road 7. The patient was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crew assisted with scene control on the street and with traffic control.

Thursday, July 23

  • BFPD responded to the Valley Dirt Rider track for an injured motorcycle rider. The patient complaining of left arm pain was transported.
  • BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on W. County Rd 12. The patient was transported.

Friday, July 24

  • BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on County Road 4 and County Road 21. The vehicle was in the ditch after hitting a power pole. The patient was transported.
  • BFPD assisted TVEMS with a citizen assist on Navajo Place.
  • BFPD assisted with a medical on Fifth Street. The patient was transported.
  • BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 249. There was minor damage and no injuries.
  • BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on I-25 at mile marker 252. The single car was found on its roof with a single patient inside complaining of pelvis and back pain. The patient was extricated and transported.
  • BFPD assisted TVEMS with lifting a patient at Berthoud Living Center.
  • BFPD responded to a medical call on County Road 15C for a patient having breathing problems. The patient was transported.

Saturday, July 25

  • BFPD responded to the Valley Dirt Rider track for an injured motorcyclist. The patient was transported.
  • BFPD responded to Turner Middle School with the Berthoud Police to assist with handling four juveniles who were burning t-shirts. The boys were transported to the police department for further questioning.

Sunday, July 26

  • BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 252. This was a three-car accident with minor damages and no injured passengers.
  • BFPD assisted TVEMS with a citizen assist on Cheyenne Drive.
  • BFPD responded to a rollover motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 246. Three patients were injured and transported.
  • BFPD assisted with a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.
