John Marks, Jr., is being held at the Larimer County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
No further information is being released at this time nor will any interviews be given as this is an on-going investigation

On October 29, 2010, at 6:10 PM, John Marks, Jr. was taken into custody by Larimer County Sheriff’s Office investigators in the 4000 block of Clydesdale Parkway in Loveland. He was arrested without incident.
Marks has been sought since October 12, 2010, when deputies conducted a welfare check at the request of family members of Kathy Adams, Marks common-law wife. Evidence found at their residence at 2920 1/2 East Mulberry prompted investigators to initiate a search for both Adams and Marks. An extensive investigation ensued.
At approximately 11:08 PM on Saturday, October 23, 2010, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to an area of Highway 36 near the border of Boulder County on a report of a body in a ravine off the road. The Larimer County Coroner later released the identification of the decedent found near Estes Park as that of Kathy Adams. The Coroner had ruled her death to be homicide.
A warrant for John Marks, Jr., was issued on October 27, 2010, for Second Degree Murder.
Marks will be booked in the Larimer County Detention Center later tonight. A booking photo will not be available until Saturday, October 30, 2010.
Sheriff Alderden would like to express his appreciation to Major Coleman and the rest of the investigative team for the hundreds of hours and dedicated effort. Larimer County Sheriff’s Office would also like to thank the public and the media for their assistance during this investigation.
No further information will be released nor will any interviews be given as the investigation is continuing.

John Marks Jr in now in the justice system and due process will take place to ensure that justice will be done, he will face a judge and jury and will be confronted with evidence of the evil deed he had done, he will get 25 years in prison. that being said one does wonder why his bail is set so low at just $100000.
John Marks Sr just needs to come up with $10,000 for a bondsman and Junior is free to run and hide again, he is absolutely a flight risk as he has already proven, persons who are a fligth risk do not get bail. also one can not help but wonder why was a warrant for 2nd degree murder issued and not a Warrant for First Degree Murder, he had planned to Kill his wife he had known that she was about to leave him, he murdered her with these things in mind, that is Pre Meditated Murder
Class one feloney, whay was the Warrant Sealed so that the public could not be made aware of the circumstances for the lesser charge, Why was Junior Arrested by "Sheriffs Investigators" and not by Sheriff's Deputies, if some one had called police and said they have spotted a wanted criminal, it is the Deputies that respond and not the Detectives, makes one wonder if some kind of deal was made to hand him in, hummm…Who knows! but one thing is for sure a dangerous murderer is now in custody and the public are once again safe at least from him. did he get help from his family, Betcha $5.00 he did, is John Sr trying every trick in the book to get his son out of trouble, well that's Ten bucks so far. they are the self proclaimed Gypsy bosses of Greeley Longmont and Fort Collins, thye like to drop names and tell people they are well connected, well lets see just how well they are connected, Me thinks Junior will get well connected in Prison and become some ones wife, this family are all evil every last one of them, this is gods judgement on them all, it is a long road they must travel to atone for their sins. I have pray for the day I hear that they found John Marks Jr. I Know Kathy's Mom was always a true Beliver in JUSTICE! And I know Justice will be serve—There NO reason to take someone life. Kathy was always a Very Good Heart women and had no reason to suffer or been treated like she did by John Marks Jr. He should have Cherish the ground she walk on. Kathy was a Blessing in his life and he did not know how to Apprecite her,care for her,or Love her. John Marks Jr. you gave Heaven a beatiful ANGEL……And you BROUGHT HELL to you and your family. Kathy's Brother's and Sister's and rest of the family….I keep you in prayer And may God be with all of you. She No longer suffers she in peace with GOD.. The Investigation into the Murder of Kathy Adams is still on going, I wonder if that means there will be further arrests made in this case, Aiding and Abetting after the fact could be one charge we may see in the headlines, perhaps conspiracy to commit second degree murder may be another one, Tampering with evidence or perhaps even Harbouring a suspected fellon, the authorities need to know that there is a National Interest in this case, people could flood Larimer County from all over the US to protest that Junior was even given the oportunity of bail, this will not go away and the people demand and expect Justice.
what would make him do that was it a heat of the moment in a fight and it got out of control….
