Zachary Joseph was born on April 22, 1986 in Denver, Colorado, he passed away on August 28, 2010 in Cripple Creek, Colorado.
He was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Tina Marken, daughter, Gabrielle Lavergne; father, Garry (Renee) Joseph; Mother Angela (Todd) Hansen; step-brothers Rob and Dan Hoben; Grandparents Willard (Glenna) Joseph; Glenna Hofer; Dwaine and Marlene Hinkle; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Joseph Hofer.
Zachary was a Boy Scout, played football (Berthoud HS), received his GED in 2007, a member of ROTC, Level II wildland firefighter, lumberjack, heavy equipment operator, and general manager of Little Caesar’s Pizza in Colo Springs.
He lived a big life for his short 24-years. He was a friend to children and animals. He had multiple hobbies and especially enjoyed snowmobiling, playing pool, video games/technology, movies; motorcycles, football (Ohio State); and could do them all while eating his favorite food – buffalo wings. He played hard and loved large and will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs. Cremation will follow.
