Walter “Pops” Frederick Meyer passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. He was born in Pender, Nebraska, on August 10, 1920, to August and Ida Meyer. He was the youngest of 11 children. He farmed his family’s land until 1962 when he moved to Loveland. In 1970, he married and started a family with Carmen Powell and her four children.
