Last-Second Heroics Propell Lady Spartans to Victory
The Berthoud High School girls basketball team took third-place in the 3A Patriot League district tournament on Saturday with a thrilling, final-second victory over the Valley Vikings.

Led by Julia Leonard and Courtney Mills, the Spartans scored 152.5 points to top second-place Eaton by 31.5 points.
