The driver of the Jeep Cherokee, 17-year-old Steven Berger died of his injuries on Thursday. A memorial service was held at the Five Stones center on Thursday evening.
Passangers in the vehicle at the time of accident were: Tinaya Norris, 17: Brennon Lee, 17: Nick Monchak, 20 and Nick Vanderlinden, 19, all of Berthoud.

Johnstown teen dies from injuries after crash

The teen seriously injured in a two-car crash south of Berthoud on Wednesday died from his injuries at 11:04 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, according to the Larimer County Coroner’s Office.
Steven Berger, 17, of Johnstown drove a 2000 Jeep Cherokee on County Road 4E just before 6 p.m. Wednesday and was struck by a northbound Chevrolet Suburban when he attempted to turn onto southbound U.S. 287, according to the Colorado State Patrol. READ MORE
